The first of many dominoes has fallen in Boston’s offseason.

Per former CelticsBlogger and Spotrac’s Keith Smith, t has officially opted out of his $2.46 million player option for the 24-25 season and becomes an unrestricted free agent. Losing Brissett obviously creates a hole in Boston’s wing depth behind and . During the regular season, he averaged 3.7 points and 2.9 rebounds in 11.5 minutes during the regular season. Look for sophomore to potentially fill that spot in the rotation as a versatile defender and energizer off the bench.

Signing Brissett was Boston’s first move last summer and in less than a year, he raised a Larry O’Brien. He’ll now enter the free agent pool, but that doesn’t rule out a return to Boston necessarily. Buttavo un occhio alla lista dei FA di questa estate... premesso che Achiuwa, Claxton o Bamba non saranno economicamente alla portata dei Celtics, si potrebbe provare a vedere cosa voglia fare Drummond o si potrebbe rischiare un contrattino a Thomas Bryant anche se sappiamo che la salute non è il suo forte... altrimenti c'è il sempreverde Biyombo
