La trade che da giorni tardava ad essere ufficializzata, lo è stata nella giornata di lunedì. Nessuna sorpresa a quanto scritto ieri: The three-team trade includes five players. Boston sends Jeff Green to Memphis. Memphis sends Tayshaun Prince and a future first round pick to Boston, and also sends Quincy Pondexter and a second round pick to New Orleans. Finally, New Orleans sends Austin Rivers to the Celtics (who will likely be flipped), and Russ Smith to Memphis.

Per Rivers sembra che sia forte l'intenzione di spedirlo ai Clippers, come per Prince di negoziare un buyout. Insomma entrambi sembrano non destinati a vestire la maglia dei nostri Celtics, nemmeno per un minuto.
